What began as hardware within the garments has been removed from its expected context and reconstructed as an object of its own. The familiar becomes unfamiliar. Jewelry becomes hardware. Hardware becomes ornament.
DUARTE is deliberately embedded into the construction rather than presented as a conventional logo. The piece is intended to be discovered slowly—turned, examined and understood through its details.
